pics from the week
Here are some pictures from our week starting with last Monday when we finished our action-packed weekend with a visit to Clemyjontri Park, which is a huge playground - like no other playground Matt & I have ever seen - about 15 minutes from our house.
Anna now pushes all her vehicles around - often with someone (or something) riding in it:

walking might be kinda neat after all...
I can't believe it's been a month since I posted about Anna's first steps. Despite her ability to take steps, she really has not had much interest. However, today, she has taken 6-8 steps in a row multiple times on her own volition. (Instead of Mom or Dad coaxing her by standing a few steps away and giving encouragement). So who knows...maybe those sundresses will come in handy soon! (In case you haven't witnessed a crawler in a while, sundresses and crawling prove to be a bad combination!)

Memorial Day weekend
Knock on wood - this has been the first weekend in a few weekends that no one in our house has been sick - and I would say we certainly have taken advantage of it. On Friday (which Matt had off - yah!) we walked around the center of Vienna, visiting a historic caboose and a fountain, played miniture golf, and went out to a Mexican restuarant with Teagan's family, which was next to another fountain! Today we went to the our town's annual carnival, Viva Vienna.

Anna seemed to really like miniture golf - watching our shots closely for 16 holes. She seemed to catch on that the goal of the game was to put the ball in the hole. Here she is trying out her own skills on the 17th hole:
watch out Grandpa, here I come!

A new way to get wet!
Anna got her birthday present from her Nana: a water table! She spent over an hour playing non-stop when we first let her give it a try - splashing her trucks around, shoveling water everywhere, scooping water with a pail, and cruising around the outside of it.

And down they came...
Just as those petals fell off our tree last year, the day we came home from the hospital, down they fell yesterday and today...to give us a pink wonderland!
(Yes, this picture took a lot of work by this Mom and Rambo's Mom)
