Weekend update:

Abby is growing so fast! Yesterday I put away another set of clothes and pulled out all the 3 month outfits. She has a fantastic new wardrobe to model in the next month!

I'm 8 weeks old!

Anna likes to use the boppy, nursing stool, and burp cloth when she feeds Abby Cadabby:

Everyone is 2!

Anna's new favorite game is to throw a birthday party for Abby Cadabby. You'll notice all her friends set up with plates and bibs in the background. After she sings "Happy Birthday" and Abby blows out the candles, they all eat "Elmo Cake." This party features a special guest, who apparently is also 2 years old:

Today we went to a baptism for one of Abby's friends, Gaby. (It's nice when you have an older sister and you can have friends already when you are 7 weeks old :) The event gave the girls the perfect opportunity to dress up in their matching dresses from Nana. I almost caught a smile - one of Abby's new skills as of Tuesday :)

Anna is setting up for Abby (Cadabby)'s birthday party. She set the table, made an "Elmo Cake*" in her kitchen, called all her friends to the table, sung "Happy Birthday" to Abby, then...

wrecked it all so she could do it again :)

* Ever since Anna's birthday party, where I made her an "Elmo Cake," she has been obsessed with Elmo Cakes. We're not really sure what an "Elmo Cake" is because she has called everything from the pancakes in the story Curious George and the Pancake Breakfast to the clothing detergent in our laundry room an "Elmo Cake." It's definitely associated with birthday parties, though. After we got home from a recent party she explained to Daddy that they had cupcakes and "Elmo Cakes" at the party. I saw the cupcakes, but I'm not sure where the "Elmo Cake" was?

I'm so big & strong!

Abby had her 6 week doctor's appointment this morning. She is now 10 pounds and 6 ounces and 22 inches long. What a big girl! Also, the doctor was shocked at how strong she was. She put Abby down on her tummy and stared in amazement when she pulled her legs up under her body and started to inch forward. She predicted Abby to be an early crawler and future gymnast! I guess she takes after her Aunt Becky!

Happy 6 week birthday, Abigail!

6 weeks ago today, to this minute, Abigail Jane Glassman was born! This video was taken in the first few minutes after she was born.

Flexing her muscles!

Abby has been a strong little baby ever since she was born. She was lifting her head off my chest in the first few days. Today she rolled over from her tummy to her back! We all cheered for her and tried to get her to do it again, but she only showed her new trick once.

Ice Cream Sundae!

Here's a special video for Great Grandma Jane, whose 89th birthday is today! (Whoops I mean whose 60+ birthday is today.) Happy Birthday Great Grandma Jane!

I thought I liked ice cream cones best, but it turns out I like ice cream sundaes best!

We got Anna a float to wear in the pool and she's learned how to "swim" well enough to be on her own with the float. She loves it:
