Two night ago in the tub:
Anna: Don't wash my knee that I hurt today.
Mom: Which knee is that?
Anna: I don't know. It doesn't hurt anymore.

At naptime today:
Mom: singing Abby's lullabye song
Abby: "Don't put me on that side." (pointing somewhere inside the crib)
Mom: still singing, but confused. I put her in the crib.
Abby: "I said not to put me on that side!" crying, crying

I guess "that side" meant "that side" of the crib railing. A very creative second attempt to skip her nap. Yesterday she just requested not to have a nap.

Right after we moved into our new house are old neighbor, Janie, came over for a playdate with her grandkids. Play dough ended up being the big hit of the day:

Cousins visit!

This past week our cousins Scott, Shari, Sam, and Sophie were visiting Washington DC. We had a great time having them over to our house, going to the Natural History Museum, and going out to dinner with them.

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter! The girls enjoyed meeting the Easter Bunny at the mall and decorating Easter eggs to prepare for the big day. On Easter morning they were thrilled to see that the Easter Bunny hid them lots of treats and an Easter Basket!

We're moved in!

We've been in our new house for 2 weeks now. Everything with the move went very smoothly, but life has still been hectic. We're all enjoying our new house. The girls have been enjoying more space to play, a backyard to run around, and checking out some new parks near our house. Matt & I have been loving our new kitchen, our new yard, and are excited about our bedroom with new furniture that just arrived today.

The weekend that we moved Grandma & Grandpa came to help. I'm not sure how we would have done it without them. Grandma sent me these cute pictures from the weekend:
