Busy with visitors, new beds, and Mommy at work :)

We have had a busy, busy two weeks! First, we have been blessed with lots of visitors. Two weeks ago Nana visited us. We had a great time going out to eat, visiting the National Cathedral, and visiting the Playseum.

This past weekend Uncle Dan, Aunt Bridget, Nancy, Grandma, & Grandpa came to visit. We had a great time just hanging around the house. Grandma & Grandpa are still here for the week and Mommy has been busy working full time this week - which has been fun, but also busy!

Finally, we ordered bunk beds a month ago and were not expecting them to arrive until the end of March. Last Wednesday we found out they were coming the next day! Mommy, Anna, & Abby had a busy two days shopping for mattresses, sheets, and comforters. Everything was set up by Monday and Anna & Abby have loved their first two nights sharing a room :)

She's different

Recently we have all been poking fun at Daddy because he is the only person in our family who:

is a boy
has short hair
has blue eyes
is left handed
goes to work
ect.

We all wrote a song that mostly features Daddy as being different, but we've applied it to everyone in the family who does something different than everyone else. Here is a version of the song-  this time about me.

Snow!

Yesterday morning we woke up to our first Virginia snow of the season. The girls had fun playing in the backyard although they were disappointed there was not enough snow for sledding or a snowman.

Grandma & Grandpa visit

This past weekend Grandma and Grandpa came to visit. We went to the National Air and Space Museum Udvar-Hazy Center, which is out in Virginia. We all loved the museum, but Grandpa loved it the best as he was able to see a ton of WWII airplanes. We also got to see the Discovery Space Shuttle, which was recently brought to the center. And we went to an observation tower and watched airplanes take off and land at Dulles Airport.

We also went out to eat a few times and went bowling. Thanks for the great visit Grandma and Grandpa!

Merry Christmas

We had a great trip to Albany for Christmas! It was great to spend so much time with family. We had two snow storms while we were there and the girls got lots of time to play in the snow. They especially liked sledding at Daddy's favorite spot from childhood. While we were visiting we got to welcome our new niece/cousin, Briella Grace! Congratulations to Aunt Becky, Uncle Jeff, Liam, and Kieran on your new family member. We also got a chance to visit our good friends, the Sherwins.
