Right now mom's best friend from college, Wesley is visiting from Texas! Simultaneously Dad is working on a special project for the appropriations committee this month, so his office is in the Capitol building. Consequently, we all got a private tour of the Capitol on Sunday.

I have to admit, this beats my nation's Capitol in AustinAfterward we headed over to the botanical gardens. Anna was especially fond of the "children's garden," where she found...another fountain!
