Today one of our playgroups met at Frying Pan Farm Park. Anna seemed very excited this morning when I told her we were going to a farm. She loved seeing all the farm equipment and the animals. She especially liked when a cow mooed at her, petting a goat's nose and a sheep's ear, and taking a tractor ride around the farm.
Anna was fascinated by watching and listening to the chickens. They were a noisy bunch!

Elyse is into holding hands and surprisingly, Anna liked it too! They actually walked around the park like this a few times!
This looks like a great outing. I guess the farmer genes from Matt's side of the family are coming out in Anna. His Grandpa Jack and Grandma Pat were both first generation off the farm.

ReplyDeleteAnna takes after her uncle Dan. I giggle like a little girl when cows moo at me. It's delightful.
ReplyDeleteAnd that top one is such a beautiful picture. Easy task, I guess, with such a beautiful subject. But with the sunlight and the chickens - it's very artfully done.
