SJC and I are in Southport, NC, on our last vacation before the baby arrives. This morning we went down to the beach and took a walk. It was pretty cold out, and we were the only people on the beach. As we were walking, I was wearing a fleece and jeans. SJC was wearing her winter parka, hat, and gloves. At one point, I teased her by asking if she wanted to get in the water. Later, she asked me to come up with the amount of money that someone would have to pay me to get in the water. She thought of her amount at the same time. Then we revealed them simultaneously and both started laughing at each other:
MEG: $100
SJC: $15,000
This afternoon we're going to play golf. We'll see how long Ms. Tropical Island 2008 lasts on the course.
